Frequently asked questions
Do you do food styling for another photographer?
Yes, I can join your production as the food stylist only.
What is food styling?
It is the plating and preparation of food so it looks its best in a photo or video: a dish made for the camera, not only for eating.
How much does a food photography session cost?
For brands, content packages (recipe, styling, photography and process video) start at USD 650. For restaurants and one-off projects, the quote depends on how many dishes or products there are, whether you need food styling and art direction, where it is shot and what the photos are for. Email me about your project and I will send a tailored proposal, no commitment.
Do you shoot at my venue or in a studio?
Both. At your venue I work with the real light and atmosphere; in the studio I control everything for product shots, packaging and catalogues.
What can I use the photos for?
Your menu, social media, website, delivery apps, packaging and campaigns. We agree on usage before we start so there are no surprises.
What is the process?
You tell me what you need, we build the shot list and visual direction together, we run the session with food styling included, and I deliver the edited photos.
