There are tons of recipes and types of fillings: fish, pork, beef or veggies, totally up to your taste. So feel free to choose whatever you have in your fridge.

- 0.5 oz of butter
- 2 oz of water
Ingredients for the filling
- 1.7 oz minced beef
- 1.7 oz minced pork
- 1 clove of garlic
- 0.5 oz of green onion

Preparation of the dough
To start this dumpling recipe we are going to start with the dough. First we are going to boil the water with the butter. After the butter melts let it cool down a little bit.
Next, we are going to incorporate the flour into the mixture. We need to form the dough and let it rest for about 30 minutes in the fridge.
After the 30 minutes, we are going to stretch the dough in a pasta maker until the dough is very very thin (about 0.10 inches).
Now that we have our dough ready, we need to cut it with a round 3 inch cookie cutter. Keep the dumpling wrappers separated with a small piece of parchment paper and repeat with the remaining dough.
Preparation of the filling
To start the filling we are going to chop very finely the garlic, the spring onion and also if you choosed fresh ginger, chop it too.
In a bowl, mix the two types of meat, the chopped veggies and season with salt and pepper. Next we are going to form little meatballs (1 inch).
To form the dumpling
Now the fun part: we are going to form the dumplings, to do so place in one little meatball on the dough and fold them up, and pleat the edges to seal the dumpling. Do this with the remaining wrappers.
For the sauce just mix the ingredients.

Cooking the dumplings
To cook them, heat 2 tablespoons of sesame oil over medium high in a skillet. Add, carefully the dumplings. Cook them in batches.
Once the bottom is golden brown add 1/4 cup of water and cover with a lid. Steam until all the water is fully evaporated.
Serve them immediately with the sauce.
Enjoy!
